North Dakota Tribal Digital Literacy

This project was designed with North Dakota’s tribal communities in mind. Research shows there is a larger digital skills gap amongst Indigenous people due to a number of challenges our communities often face when accessing technology and training. Digital literacy skills are critical in our modern job market as a certain level of skill is required in most jobs. Further, workers with digital skills earn significantly more.

To address this issue, NDTDL, which was generously supported by our partners Microsoft and the ND Department of Public Instruction, provided digital literacy training to adult Tribal members at each of the five Tribal Colleges.
